How to Participate
Product manufacturers, suppliers and service providers are
invited to join Built Green as sponsors.
The Built Green Checklist does not refer to specific products or brand names;
rather it encourages the use of certain product types and techniques. If your
products or services meet with one or more of the criteria in the Checklist, you
may complete the application below and submit it along with a letter stating
your interest in the program, and literature supporting how your product or
service complies with the Checklist. The Energy and Environmental Affairs
Committee, which oversees Built Green, will review the submitted information and
notify you of their decision within 30 days.
Annual dues are $750.00.
Benefits of being a sponsor include: networking and
promotion within the community of Built Green builders; participation in various
public relations, educational, and marketing efforts directed toward both
builders and the buying public; use of the Built Green logo; and Built Green
brochures for use in your business.
Sponsors are important to the program and to the builders who participate.
The success of the program is due in large part to the involvement of product
and service suppliers who show leadership in the program and commitment to the
concept of Built Green. Sponsors play an additional important role in guiding
the program with technical and product expertise. You are encouraged to consider
the benefits to your company, and to the industry, that your participation as a
sponsor can provide.
