Built Green sponsorships at various levels are available to design professionals, product manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, lenders and other individuals and organizations associated with the home building industry or interested in advancing green home building.
The sponsorship levels available are Built Green Sponsor, Built Green Advocate, Built Green Partner and Built Green Industry Leader.
To qualify as a Built Green Sponsor or a Built Green Partner or Built Green Industry Leader a company must provide a product or service that complies with the Built Green Checklist or assists a builder in complying with the Built Green Checklist. The Built Green Checklist, the document that sets the standards for the Built Green Home designation, does not refer to specific product or brand names; rather it encourages the use of certain design criteria, best building practices, product and technology types, etc. If your products or services meet with one or more of the criteria of the Checklist, or assist a builder in achieving or demonstrating their compliance with the criteria, your company is eligible to become a Built Green Sponsor, Built Green Partner, Built Green Advocate or Built Green Industry Leader.
If your company’s products or services do not directly comply, or assist a builder in complying with, the Built Green checklist you may be eligible to apply as a Built Green Advocate.
Please refer to the various sponsorship applications for specific eligibility criteria. Click here to obtain an application. Once you have submitted your application, the program will determine your eligibility and notify you of the program’s decision.
